Hurricane Work

We sent a crew to Florida to work following a hurricane. This home was damaged by the storm surge and is located very near the beach. There was approximately 12" of water in the home. The demolition was extensive as this home had about 4000 sf on the main floor that was affected. Storm surge water and most water associated with hurricane damage is category 3 water. We followed the IICRC standard for mitigating the category 3 water. The demolition included wood flooring, drywall, and cabinets that can all be seen in this photo. There was a substantial amount of contents and in this case the homeowner hired a moving company to move everything to storage.
